Mitre from £60

Sometimes refered to as Masons Mitre or Butt & Scribe joint.

Corners of rooms are rarely square, to ensure accuracy relative to the adjacent walls the joint is cut on site, the setting up being done on the relative furniture.

The joint is clamped with three worktop joining bolts.

& is sealed with a silicone mastic, the colour used is similar to that of the work top.

An exact match is difficult due to the large range of colours used in modern worktops.

Do not allow water to stand, nor boil electric kettles on the joint, thermal expansion can cause the joint to fail.
